Cancelable Biometrics
[Abstract]
In biometrics authentication, re-registration and revocation are very
difficult to do because human has only limited number of biometrics
information. For this difficulty, cancelable biometrics has been
reserched. Cancelable biometrics based on block scramble has a
block boundary problem that minutiae near to block boundary are
unstable. To solve this problem, we propose the scheme that uses
helper data. This helper data means perturbation that will move the
minutiae that is near to block boundary to far from that boundary. If
we add the helper data to unstable minutiae, that minutiae will be
stable and overall matching score will be improved.
