DPlan for the Cooperative Project (with clear description of research activities on both sides as well as of the elements of cooperation and exchange)
- Japanese-side (Starting Date of the cooperative project: 1st. DEC. 2008)
- Making the Home Page and/or Blog on this project for sharing information among members and advertizing this project towards outside members.
- Visiting India and/or inviting researchers from India: Project Co-leaders would introduce members to each others with short presentation of their current/future research interests. Espscially, japanese Project Co-leader would visit ISI of India before/after attending a major crypto-conference, INDOCRYPT 2008 to be held in Kharagpur in Winter 2008 and INDOCRYPT 2009 to be held in India sometime in Winter 2009.
- Major Workshops would be held in one or two times per year. The host should be done by each Project Co-leaders.
- Each japanese member will have (at least) one or two research partners from Indian Side, and shall present the results of joint-research not only in project-workshops but also in international conferences and/or academic journal.
- The japanese leader and sub-leader plan to launch joint-workshop on some major area, including cryptography and network/software security between Japan and India, as an extension of the local workshop of this project, which shall be mainly supported by academic (sub) society such as IEICE or IPSJ.
- Indian-side (Starting Date of the cooperative project: 1st. DEC. 2008)
- Disseminating information about this project to members as well as others with a view to gain insights from researchers even if they are not directly engaged in this project.
- Visiting Japan and/or inviting researchers from Japan.
- Major Workshops to be held once or twice every year.
- The results of joint-research of the researchers from the two countries to be presented in project-workshops as well as in international conferences and/or academic journal.
- There will be efforts to launch joint-workshops on some area, including cryptography and network/software security.
