       abstract: In this talk, I will talk about the different applications, designs and attacks
                 of hash functions. Hash function is widely used in cryptography.
                 I will highlight some of these. Many designs are known in the literature.
                 In this talk we see some of the designs and study different attacks applied to these designs.
                 In nut shell, I will give a brief overview of different designs and attacks of hash functions.
